When we met Jay (and Jenny) just a few months ago it seemed like fate had arranged it. Jay and Pete had both served in the R.E.M.E in Munster, Germany and I grew up in Woolwich where Jay was stationed and where he and Jenny were married. And we'd all recently moved to Honiton. Sadly fate decided that we would enjoy Jay's company and sense of humour for only a few months but we will always remember him as a kind and generous man who loved to live life to the full.
